My name is Ryan and I’m your virtual groomer’s assistant.

I have been in the grooming industry for 14 years, half of my life. During my time in this industry I have worked various positions from bather, receptionist, groomer, to manager.

One thing that hasn’t changed over the last 14 years is that grooming business owners are BUSY.

That’s where I come in.

I grew up in Southern Indiana with my family and always surrounded by animals. We had horses and dogs throughout my entire childhood. When I was in in highschool I got my first job at a grooming salon and kennel (circa 2008/2009).

In 2012 I moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend Otterbein University where I recieved a Bachelors in Equine Pre-Veterinary Science and a Bachelors in Business Management. While in college I got hired on as a bather at Designer Paws Salon. During my time at DPS, I learned to fine tune my bathing/preppings skills and also was able to travel the country as Misty’s assistant at grooming competitions.

In 2016 when I graduated college, Misty trained me to groom. After going to many competitions with her, I was hell bent on becoming a competitive groomer. Shortly after I started grooming full time, I began competing and won a variety of awards in my first two years grooming.

Currently, I am working as a virtual assistant to grooming salon business owner’s to help them solve problems that I have noticed and dealt with myself over the last 14 years.
